Unfortunately summer is long over. The weather is getting colder and colder and the sun is becoming a rare visitor.
I'm not a big fan of winter, to tell you the truth. It's not fun to wake up early while it's still dark and it's definitely not fun to walk in the snow while trying to avoid slipping and falling down.
On the other hand, winter clothes can be really fun to wear (that's of course if you avoid the temptation of wearing hoodies each and every day). There's a certain elegance to winter clothes. I don't know if it's the coats or if it's the scarfs or boots.
This winter though it's official: winter clothes are luxurious and festive.
Fur is making a major comeback, whether it's real or faux.
We see new styles and trends celebrating the new adaption of Anna Karenina, starring Keira Knightly and Jude Law. The Russian style fur hats are gonna be really hot (literally) this fall and winter and also fur coats and scarfs.
Fur styles are mostly costly, but you can definitely find items that are lower-budget-friendly.
I recommend checking asos.com out and also be on the watch out for Banana Republic's new holiday capsule collection, inspired by Anna Karenina and designed by the movie's costume designer Jacqueline Durran. The collection should come out this month primarily in stores and also on the online store.
So, happy luxurious winter.
Cheers!
